A 24-year-old New Albany man could face as much as seven years in prison and $17,500 in fines after pleading guilty Friday to charges stemming from a pair of incidents earlier this year.

Calvin Lee Adams appeared without an attorney and was asked by President Judge Russell Shurtleff about having a firearm present during a terroristic threat in January.

“Do you understand that your weapon will be forfeited or destroyed as a result of this plea?” the judge asked.

Adams said he did and also accepted responsibility for possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment stemming from an incident on April 18.

The judge said there was to be no contact with the victims, and he would be sentenced at a later date.
