A man reported missing on July 11, was pulled from a pond in Wyoming County Wednesday afternoon (July 17).
Officials said the body of Aaron Isaac Pote, 38, of Womelsdorf, was found off of State Route 4002 in Windham Township, but state police did not identify him until three days later.
Wyoming County Coroner Tom Kukuchka said the cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
State police sent out a bulletin July 11 that Pote had last been seen July 8 at a location in Laceyville/Jenningsville, and was described as a white male with short black hair, 5’11” and brown eyes, approximately 160 pounds with a slim build.
