Lackawanna Trail senior football player Miguel Ella had one of the best games of his high school career in Friday night’s 21-19 win over Old Forge. Ella caught his first ever touchdown pass to put the Lions ahead with 56 seconds left in the game. He then broke up a Blue Devil’s pass that would have swung the game the other way, securing the win and extending the season for the Lions. In recognition of his achievement, Ella has been named the Wyoming County Press Examiner Athlete of the Week.
