The Tunkhannock Tigers ended their regular softball season on a 14-game win streak, riding Kendra Schultz’s marvelous complete-game shutout with nine strikeouts to a 8-0 win at Dallas.

Mackayla Quick homered for Tunkhannock.

Faith Jones, Jena Simmons, Nicole Howell and Riley Cummings recorded two hits each for a Tiger offense that had 17 on the day.

The Lady Tigers earned a bye in the first round of the playoffs on Monday.

They hosted the winner of Monday’s first round game between No. 10 Lake-Lehman and No. 8 Berwick in a quarterfinal game on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., after this paper was published.
